So, following the weekend of my mom's birthday, one of my dear friends Emily Clare came to visit. It was the first time she'd seen Ayla in just under 2 years, and obviously the first time to meet Annabelle. Ayla took to her right away.. could have been the adorable dog Emily brought her. For a week after she left, Ayla wouldn't put the dog down and talked about "Emmy" constantly. Andy took the girls one night so we could have a girls night out. It was great. We also managed to pack in a trip to an overcrowded city pool and a lot of playtime. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
